Fotokonkurransen EISA Maestro har har i år tema “Speed” – som vi velger å tolke som “Fart” – med innsendelsesfrist 1. juni. Førsteprisen er på 1.500 Euro.
I fjor gikk førstepremien for den beste bildeserien gikk til den spanske fotografen Urbano Suárez. Du skal altså sende inn en bildeserie på mellom fem og åtte bilder. Først er det en nasjonal utvelgelse, og vinneren av den norske finalen går videre til hovedkonkurransen.
Her er konkurransereglene:
1. A picture story based on the theme SPEED comprising 5-8 pictures must be sent by 1 June 2012 to: red@fotografi.no.
2. All entries must be in digital format (from digital camera or scanned film originals).
3. Format: at initial stages images should be submitted as JPEG digital files of 800 pixels on the longest edge. Images that are selected for the finals will be required to be resubmitted at a higher resolution (3000 pixels).
4. Only one entry per person.
5. Entries must be accompanied by your name, address and e-mail address and phone number.
6. The national contests will be judged by the editors of that country and are open only to residents of that country.
7. The international contest will be judged by the 17 editors in chief of the EISA Photo Panel.
8. There will be 3 placed winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, in both the national and international competition.
9. You may only submit your own work. Competition organizers and EISA publishers will not be responsible for copyright infringements committed by entrants.
10. The organizers reserve the right to publish winning entries free of charge in any EISA represented country for the purposes of promoting the competition, and in any material relating to the competition.
11. There will be no correspondence about the results.
12. National results will be published in the July 2012 issue of Fotografi, and international results will be published in all EISA Photo member magazines in September 2012.
13. 1st prize: € 1.500,- and EISA Photo Maestro 2010 Trophy.
14. 2nd prize:€ 1.000,- and trophy.
15. 3rd prize: € 750,- and trophy.
The international prize winners will be invited to the EISA Award Ceremony, to take place on the 31st August 2012 during the International Funkausstellung (IFA) at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin. The first prize includes plane or train tickets, a two night hotel stay based on a double room for the winner and a guest. The second and third prize winners receive tickets and hotelroom, but for one person.

Vi skulle ha minnet om at innsendelsesfristen er forlenget til 1. juni. Det er altså fortsatt tid til å levere bidra.
Hvert land deltar i finalen med én vinner. Veien til å bli en av de 18 i finalen er dermed ganske kort. Alle vinnerne i finalen får altså både en pengepremie og reise og hotellopphold i Berlin under prisutdelingen.
Send altså i første omgang lavoppløste bilder, en serie på 5-8 piksler med maks 800 piksler langs lengste kant. Den norske vinneren må deretter sende inn høyoppløselige versjoner, 3000 piksler eller mer.
Min feil, poenget med hele saken var jo at fristen var utsatt til 1. juni. Av og til går det litt fort i svingene. Jeg beklager.
